Developing system practice
I developed a sophisticated version of causal loop diagrams using graph database technology, making them both extensive and interactive. This approach reveals the social networks within situations of interest, showing how different actors interact to create the dynamics we observe. The method provides deeper insights into these systems and identifies potential entry points to effective interventions.
A Decade of Finding Clarity
After a decade helping leaders and organisations find clarity to move forward through systems thinking, I summarised these learnings in this keynote to share with my SCiO colleagues. I reflect on what worked and what didn't, and the common challenges organisations face where systems thinking can be valuable.
